FAQ – Seidora

All of the apothecary, curio and oddity, and some of the home décor items we carry are ready to ship upon order. They will be packaged and shipped out within 48 hours of your purchase. How fast shipping takes depends on what type of shipping you chose during checkout.

Our budget $5 shipping is usually shipped with UPS Ground, USPS Parcel Select Ground, or USPS Priority Mail. Each shipment is insured and will be supplied with a tracking number.

Print on Demand (POD) items are printed per order. What this means is that when you order a POD item, it will go into product before it is shipped to you. Sometimes production takes a day, sometimes it can take a few days, your product will ship once production has finished. We will then supply you with a tracking number.

Please contact us at support@seidora.com as soon as possible. We will contact the shipping provider and request information on your delivery.

Please Note: Seidora is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the shipment has been delivered. At that point (when the carrier's tracking states the package has been delivered), there is little to nothing we can do on our end. It is suggested that you contact your local police department if you suspect theft or your local post office if you suspect the package was delivered to the wrong address.

We do accept returns on undamaged and non-defective products as longs as they meet the follow conditions:

-All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date.

-Product must be not be opened.

-Product must not be used.

For damaged and defective products please provide adequate proof of defect or damage by contacting us at support@seidora.com.

To return an item, please email customer service at support@seidora.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and the return form provided, and mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

You can chose to either have the cost of the item refunded on at your payment type, or you can receive in store credit.

After receiving you return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or credit. Please allow at least 30 days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

Ethical sourcing is extremely important to us, and we want to remain as transparent as we can to how we source our products.

Animal Remains:

The majority of our animal products come from trusted US or Canadian based taxidermists who source their products from ranches, farms, as byproducts from other industries (where the remains would otherwise be discarded), and from their own private taxidermist businesses.

We do, however, carry a few products, from time-to-time, that are imported from overseas. We use a trusted importer that has been in business since the 1970s.

Seidora honors every animal, or insect (even the botanicals for that matter), product we carry by treating them with the utmost care and respect the entire time they are with us. We feel good about the fact that instead of these pieces being discarded, they can now go to a good home, where they will be cherished.

The hard truth about ethical sourcing is that there are no official standards, certifications, or laws in place to help verify the validity of ethical sourcing claims. As hard as we try to make sure that the businesses we work with are indeed ethical, we can not guarantee, beyond a doubt, that everything we have purchased was ethically sourced. This is why we do not use the words "ethically sourced" on our site.

Although we do use some organic herbs in our blends, per FDA regulations we cannot label any of our herbal blends as organic without having them tested by an independent lab. At this time, we are unable to send samples out for testing due to the significant cost involved. Rest assured that this is one of the goals we are diligently working toward and that we always strive to bring you the highest quality herbal products we can.

We look at the Dark Moon as the time when none, or the least amount of visible light is reflecting from the Sun toward Earth. This in usually only a day long. For us, the New Moon, is when the first visible light starts to show on the Waxing Crescent of the Moon. This is how astronomers used to view the Lunar Cycle, but for ease the whole cycle has been changed to “New Moon”. We feel this new way doesn’t suit magical needs well enough as the Dark Moon and the New Moon both have different uses in rituals and spells.
