Handcrafted Black Walnut Ink BAT: 001

1 Review

Handcrafted Black Walnut Ink from the Autumn Equinox 2020 made from black walnut husks in small batches. This ink is has a low viscosity and behaves much like watercolor. Perfect for use in dip pens and with paint brushes. Ink can be layered to achieve a darker color. Works beautifully on watercolor paper.

Can be thickened using Gum Arabic powder that has been diluted with hot water.

To create the drawing Jeff dripped ink straight from the dropper onto the paper and then dabbed it away with a paper towel, he then used the dip pen shown to dip and draw the Hagalaz design.

Shake well before using!
