Materials: Basswood, Leather, Black Onyx

Height: 5.5"

Width: 3.5"

Depth: 1.65"

Use: Ritual Hammer, Alter Piece

This small Mjolnir was handcrafted and dedicated to the mighty Aesir and protector of Midgard, Thor. Carved into the front of the hammer face, and written in Younger Futhark, is "Thor Vigi". This has been found on the Velanada Runestone in Sweden and translates to "Thor Protect". The engraved areas have been painted black and the entire piece stained and sealed.

The carved pommel is a Viking age replica and has been recessed and inset with a Black Onyx gemstone. This stone is used for its protective properties, and aids in the dispersal of negative energy and helps with personal strength and defense. To finish the piece, the handle was then wrapped in genuine black leather.
